I'd like to see them explore putting at least one of the towers, if not both, on the interior blocks. IMO it would help to offset the monolithic feeling of those blocks of low-rise buildings south of Lane.

I really like the direction this development is heading. If it ends up looking anything like those renderings, it will be a really nice urban addition to that district.

I like bock 41, it brings a welcome pop of white in the midst of all the dark towers.

Looks like the 2 high rises are now 27 floor each? Or am I just looking at it wrong?

The more I look at this development, the more I like it. I could see developments like this one going up in Beaverton if they ever commit to allowing buildings of this size in their downtown or by the Round.

I’m not sure if site prep work has begun or not, but they moved all of the construction equipment for block 40 away from the northwest corner of this lot to the southwest corner last week. This morning, it appears a few survey trucks are out on the lot near the river doing some type of work. It’s hard to tell for sure from my window, but I found it interesting nonetheless so I thought I’d report.

Update: 3-4 large trucks just dumped a bunch of dirt on the lot.

Blocks 41 (23-story, northern tower) and 42 (6-story) are now under review. After many years, excited to see this move forward.

Nope. Both buildings are still in plan review phase. There is still a ton of open reviews, so I would think they are a month or two out at least. Link to high-rise building permit status

Oh ok. When the previous poster mentioned he saw action I thought it was starting.

Boy this city moves incredibly slow with these things even in a housing crisis

Yeah they were just digging something up with a backhoe the other day. It’s gone now.
