Sorry, I was trying to quote you. I was doing it in a rush, on my phone, and didn't do it correctly. I appreciate what you bring to the forum. No ill intent intended. Thanks Crested.

You and Crested are both very classy posters. So often we'll see someone react emotionally to a misunderstanding like this on social media.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate that. Try to slow down little, but please not try to rush. Just take it easy.

The diner at the light rail station on the SWC of Adams and Central is no longer open.

That location seems cursed. The Counter actually lasted a lot longer there than the Japanese and Italian restaurants I remember being in that space before.

Crap. I liked that place. Good burgers, nice bar and a convenient place to meet somebody going on or off the train.

They've been actively remodeling the interior for a couple of weeks now. I was wondering what was coming. Thanks for posting.

Did anyone look at the menu for that place?

"Our gold- dusted & 24-hour brined gold coconut butter-chipotle-honey wings with gourmet bleu cheese"

$60 for ten.

My NYC contacts say it's a restaurant where convention goers max out their expense account. Seems the menu supports the claim.

The lower end of the Yelp reviews for one of their NYC locations suggests the place is terrible and won't last six months. I would be disappointed in Phoenix if it did last longer, actually.

Just pulled up the website and I've never been more dissuaded to go to a restaurant by its own marketing pictures.

I thought it could have looked nice but then you start scratching the surface and realize it's just a bad mishmash between a half-hearted attempt at a sports bar and a bougie loud bro club.

I can just imagine Gordon Ramsay (I've been watching too many old episodes of Kitchen Nightmares during the plague) going in there when they have no customers anymore and making fun of all the food. Those wings sum the whole place up: expensive hot mess with a flashy exterior.

I heard Carlos & O'Brien Mexican restaurant are moving to Scottsdale. They came from Northern Ave & 12th St on Southwest corner. I found out about this. They already open new restaurant at Scottsdale 101. Near Mayo & Scottsdale Rd.

The original location at Northern and 12th St was recently torn down to make way for a QT. I was never a fan of the restaurant, but it was a little disappointing to see its odd, somewhat unique building disappear in favor of chain convenience store and gas station. The restaurant has another location in northwest Phoenix at I-17 and Happy Valley. With the new northeast Phoenix location at Scottsdale 101, they'll have two locations, both on the north side of town.

It takes all types to have a good city.

Even places that are insufferable.

Really? I didn’t even know that! You didn’t like to eat at restaurants. They build new gas stations on 12th St & Northern. We haven’t seen it yet! We’ll check it out later.
