Where is the 400k sf life science project building going? The west tower is 200k residential and the East is 700k office. Is it the parcel on JFK closer to Drexel?

Regarding 3000 market, it makes sense to reuse the building while developing the vacant shovel ready sights around it. Why waste it, especially if they have interest now from what sounds like smaller startups.

have you been to asia before? there are 8 cities in the pearl river delta with more than 4 million people. 3 of them have more than 8 million people.

they build up. also, labor is migratory and cheap.

in the middle east it's mostly about comparing d*ck size.

If I’m not mistaken, the life sciences building will be the parcel next to 3025 JFK (to the West)

The red exoskeleton is beginning now on the lower portion of the old Bulletin Building.

I recently had this same conversation with one of my coworkers and we looked up the number of Million plus cities in China....Mind Boggling!

Actually the whole thing looks pretty damn good. And, I like the deep red. I have it on at least one door on my house...LOL.

That's going to look sweet all finished up. Imagine how awesome looking the Christmas season will be if they decorate the trees and dress the park up for the holidays.

Get ready for over 500 feet of it once the Red-block building starts -- they will match I am sure (The Bulletin's exoskeleton and the new high rise).

Yeah, seems to be the case. I was only referring to what should be a whole lot of deep red in the area in the near future.

That I agree with. The red is very unique for Philly, I would LOVE to see more. That's why I love the 512 foot tower

I hope that both the 1,095 footer and the 1,200 footer in the 30th Street Station District will happen, so that Philly will have 3 supertalls, beating both Houston and Los Angeles which have 2 supertalls each. Too bad the 1,509 ft American Commerce Center got cancelled due to the 2008 recession.

Currently only four US cities have multiple supertalls: NYC, Chicago, Houston, and L.A.

The American Commerce Center was a disastrous bad design. I think everyone just likes that big needle on top.

The ACC was to go on the lot where our only supertall currently exists.
