Ah Portland, how I miss thee. I will have to make a point of revisiting you sometime soon.

Seriously, great shots Derek. Portland is one awesome city.

There are lot of people still moving here. I've been seeing a lot of Hawaii plates especially in Beaverton & Hillsboro and you know that ain't no road trip.

BTW, great set of downtown and environs!

i live up off of NW 23rd and its jam packed with shoppers and tourist on the weekend. i mean its been popular for the better part of 20 years but its reallly popular now. i have a hard time believing its portland. seems like bustling parts of san fransisco, toronto or brooklyn. i like it.

My sister moved to Portland a few years ago. Whenever she visits us back in Cali, she can't leave without going to In-N-Out first.

I'm one of those road trippers. My bro and I drove up there last year from SoCal. It's quite a journey but worth it once you see how beautiful the city is.

Ride yer bikes!! Come on, it's Portland. It's the best city in the U.S. for biking and has a very good public transportation system. You can get around town without a car.

Great set, I just recently moved to Vancouver and relish the thought of revisiting Portland, was there 3 years ago on a road trip out of Winnipeg to San Francisco. Love Voodoo and Stumptown but must get back for brekkie at Helsers and ribs at Podnahs' as u can tell I am hungry right now.

The opportunity to visit Portland was one of the boons for me too when I moved to Vancouver, and I recently had a chance to do so. Have breakfast at Mothers and thank me later.

All in all, I have to say I was extremely impressed by Portland.

I second Mothers for breakfast/brunch. Giovanni Sasso turned me on to that place--awesome, and well worth the wait.

While Portlandia the series is hilarious, Portland the city is beautiful. If only all American cities were this good.
