How is it the facade looked better BEFORE this happened? Why do parts look rust coloured now on it, when they didn't before..?
Perhaps whatever they coated it with helps to pull out discolouration that they can then sodablast off? Because I am noticing that the new stone is COMPLETELY unaffected.
Perhaps they are poulticing..
"Poulticing: poultices usually consist of a support

poultice softens the dirt which can then be easily
removed and often comes away with the spent
