Nice photo. For a long time this area was more or less static, but lately there's been tons of construction activity. It will look great when those parking lots are finally built on, and I think the added population will have a noticeable positive impact on local businesses. Hopefully the old obsession with luring suburban shoppers with cheap parking will be forgotten.

Yeah SekishikiMeikaiHa, great shot. I am very excited for this area and the density difference there will be in a few years!

Dartmouth, from the Halifax waterfront :

I think because of kings wharf and the possible development of Dartmouth cove the Woodside area view will be the best to see the Dartmouth skyline in time .

This view of the skyline will be more appreciable after the redevelopment of Fenwick.
And the destruction of the grain elevator.

If you go here they have a panorama taken from a similar perspective in 2003: http://webcam.chebucto.net/

The differences in some areas are huge. In particular, Spring Garden Road and the Barrington/South area have changed a lot.

We've had drop off points for UPS, but Purolator did all the delivering and warehouse stuff. They just opened up their warehouse here.

Somebody call the HT/STV. This will destroy our tourist industry if evil, profit seeking, UPS blocks our right to view the iriving refinery.

On a serious note... why in the world would the truck drive up citadel hill? That's terrible logistics coordination.
