Wan Chai is one of the older districts on Hong Kong Island. There are plenty of old buildings, and also new redevelopments as well.
A new tall tower rises above the rest, more dated buildings.
This row of historic homes looks quite primitive, but with a new coat of painting, has received a new life somewhat.
Plenty of property agents surrounded this redevelopment hoping to lure some unsuspecting buyers into their traps.
This building also rose out of a redevelopment, and popped up so fast I didn't notice it until I looked closely and wondered why I have never seen it before.
This old post office is now an exhibition centre for environmentalism.
Blue House is one of the more famous historic buildings in Wan Chai. The bottom section has been turned into an informal museum while people still live in the quarters upstairs. It's certainly a glimpse into the past.
Amazing. As usual, the density staggers the mind...at least to this Canadian.
