The temporary supports around the "gap" are being dismantled, which reveals the iconic setback at the top. It's a nice eye-catcher and will be moreso when the trees are planted.
I think what I love most about this development is how "urban" the base is. The parking garage is covered in glass, so it looks like an occupied structure. The base also fits nice and snug around an historic building which makes it stand out and look "welcomed" into the urban fabric. This is a successful place-making city block in my opinion!
