News on Stage 2 Confederation Line east extension. The Blair fly-over structure, which is about 800 meters east of Blair, where the trains will go from the north of the highway to the median, should be completed by Summer 2021, with the first Stage 2 Confed tracks being laid soon after.
We also have a new rendering of Montreal Station, one station east (about 3 km further) of Blair. The rendering shows the addition of angled roof sections, which is more in line with Stage 1 station design language. Not as elaborate of course. Some strange parts however, is the missing middle section of the glass canopy (which is strange as these also include lighting and signage) and chain link fences separating the rail line and highway.
The rendering is not of very high quality, so I choose to only take the angled roof as a true change to the original design.
The original rendering from Feb 2019, when the winning bids' designs were unveiled.
