Also from St. Thomas, an update on Indwell's 45 affordable apartments plus a new municipal fire hall, courtesy for the architect Invizij:

"Our @indwell.ca project in St. Thomas is coming along. Built to be both a single bay fire hall on the lower level and 45 affordable apartments above, it is an innovative way for two essential community services (fire protection and affordable housing) to join forces and save project costs (compared to two separate buildings/ sites). We believe this is a great opportunity for all other communities looking to (re)develop new fire halls.
Beyond the unique mixed use, this is another #passivehouse project for Indwell, this time with a new hvac system (heat/cool/ventilate/dehumidify all-in-one) with the Minotair Pentacare v12."

Day & Ross Transport has opened their new terminal in Woodstock on County Rd 4 just north of Parkinson/Tower Line Rd. It's an impressive facility, I heard it had 110 or so loading docks and there has to be a couple hundred trailers in the yard. Quite the improvement over their old facility facing the 401 near Hwy 59 that they vacated last year. Contrans is building their new offices on that site.

I got a couple of my own photos while in St. Thomas earlier too.

First, the complete Indwell building on Queen Street:

Second, the building immediately North of it facing Talbot at the intersection with Queen. Nothing I could find online about what's happening here though. Does anybody know?

Turns out this building has been approved for a 17-unit, 4-storey apartment addition with preservation of the historic facades. Foundations have made good progress.

Nearby at 30 St. Catharine St, the City recently completed a tranformation of a former downtown parking lot into a new daycare centre using pre-fab CLT from local manufacturer Element5.

And the Sunray retirement home is now complete and occupied. Known as the Talbot Manor.

Prespa Homes' Fairview condos don't appear to have started construction yet but the Flora condos are underway:

Large parcel of land at the NW corner of Wallace Line and Robinson Rd which is directly west of the CAMI plant in Ingersoll is now seeing site prep with heavy equipment levelling out the landscape. Signage is up for development land available.
