I love LA too! So much to see, such a wide variety of places. It takes years of visits to realize the breadth of what it offers. Great set of photos!!

My happy place here in California is along the coast so this just looks ideal for me... sitting on a bench enjoying the ocean breeze.

Wow, I really need to check el Matador beach one day.

What is getting prepped across the street from 8th and Fig? Is that another tower?

It really does have everything and yet is seemingly so laidback about it all.

Fantastic shots.

Would be nice if that were a new proj breaking ground. That street is actually the alleyway...or service driveway...that divides a part of the block bordered by 7th St to 8th, from Fig & Flower. Pwright's photo is looking from east to west. I'm fairly sure that's just a part of the parking lot, accessed from flower st, being used as a staging area for the Mitsui apt proj next door.

I always look forward to posts from both Pwright & Sopas....they're good at capturing a sense of the LA-socal area. jsocal at youtube does walking vids that are also good in getting a feel of the LA area....

Is the new bridge scary to cross on foot?
