Ah, that one wasn't even on my radar. That thing is huge.
On the Calgary thing, someone from the forum said recently that they think Austin's skyline looks like some of the suburban cities in Canada. I sort of see their point in the way that our downtown is stretched out. Then again, most of Canada's cities have elongated skylines.

If the office portion of this tower is self contained, ie; a/c, plumbing, electric, sprinkler system and finish out is in place as I suspect it will be before occupancy, then we know it can be done, as proven in Chicago. I believe Kevin provided the name of that building in Chicago.

Yes, that one came to mind here. Another one that I was thinking of recently while bubbling with excitement for 608 Guadalupe and trying to find buildings to compare it to is the Williams Tower in Houston. I was measuring that one to the roof to see where this one would come from, and then of course I went off to read about it. The Williams Tower is all office space, of course. It's officially listed as 901 feet with 64 floors. One thing few people realize is the building actually has two lobbies - one on the first floor and another one on the 32nd floor. The building actually functions as two 32-story towers stacked on top of each other complete with separate elevator banks. I would imagine that with that being true that it probably has other separate mechanical systems.
