Montrose Collective looks great. Love the multi-paned industrial style windows.

The entire Laneways development is suppose to have five towers.

Perhaps part of the Caydon's Group 5 high rise development? I don't think we've seen the renderings for the other 3, but I might be wrong. Edit: answered above. There will be 6 total high rises by two separate groups if things go according to plans.

Chron: Houston First postpones vote on proposed downtown W Hotel deal

Quote:
City convention officials, saying they needed more time to analyze new information related to the proposed development of a W Hotel downtown before voting on whether to move the process forward, took the matter off their agenda for Thursday’s meeting....

The developer, Texas Hospitality Partners, has been in negotiations with Houston First to lease air rights to build the hotel on top of Partnership Tower, Houston First’s 10-story office building just north of the George R. Brown Convention Center. The building, at 701 Avenida de las Americas, was designed to support a building addition.
Even though the vote is being postponed, it's good that this has inched forward.

We definitely need a Whole Foods + Apartment type development downtown like the new one on Washington Avenue. I think we have the residential population and enough high income downtown employees to support it.

I think that’s an HEB on Washington Ave while Whole Foods completed a mixed use development in Midtown.

Looks like the Related tower that replaced the Watermark Tower in Chicago.

It's been planned in the Medical Center for nearly a year. Not sure if they've started on it.
