Looks like I was wrong about the second crane but now they made the first crane higher that thing swings within 10 feet of our floors windows. We had a meeting today and that thing spins so fast it feels like it's about to crash through the windows.

So over across the street from Block 23 construction site is a small Whiting Turner fenced in site which has a single wall with windows and things. I believe this is the practice mock up site for the Block 23 building. Recently they put the façade on the little wall. Here is a picture. Sorry about the terrible quality next time I walk the dogs by here I will try to get a better picture.

Here is where the location is circled in red from google earth.

Or is it a mockup for the Barrister project?

Hmmm, the renderings don’t appear to have much brick, the apartment has some but I can’t tel how dark this brick is compared to the renderings.

Seems weird to do a mock up on someone else’s property when they have a whole construction site with plenty of room, but we also haven’t seen any final plans for barrister so who knows

As a note it is not a complete building it is only a L shape wall.

I would also say that the residential renderings look like quite a bit of brick. Also this is fake brick as it was stuck on some backing.

The shift in size of bricks on the corner area about 3' up really bothers me.

Hopefully that is because it is a mock up and they wanted to show both styles.

That's what I was thinking. I like the smaller bricks better.

As I watch each day the construction...... I can't figure out where the cars will now go into the underground parking? All is now covered with cement or other covering. Do they cover the whole thing and then remove some at a later date for an entrance? Usually, there are 2 entrances on 2 different sides. I don't see these yet??????? Someone in the know explain?

Car elevator? State of the art quantum phase shift that lets matter pass through itself by negating the strong nuclear force? Magnets??

Maybe the ramps in the following picture are ramps UP instead of DOWN which may make some sense because there is not an elevator stack on the grocery store side maybe... don't know I see the issue.

There will be 2 levels of underground parking. The entrance will be on the 2nd St side. The angle of the live cam is not the greatest, but you can see the ramp going down if you look closely:

You can actually see the entrance under the residential portion, looks like resident parking will be below and office/retail parking will be above probably internal ramps connecting it all

Thanks. Still a little unsure. Parking below and above ground? I see the ramp you point out on the cam but 2nd street doesn't match the schematic showing ramps on Washington and Jefferson?

The 2nd St entrance is actually in the schematic. It's just not cutout like the other entrances (not sure why). I've used my awesome circling skills again to show the entrance:
