Newport City | A SSP City Project | Planning

Ok, this thread may spark up Mo to check around here. Anyway this thread is to show your buildings and to discuss about, and for the forum to decide if it will be accepted.

So here are the buildings proposed to Newport City.

wair wait wait, we need to get everything organized and make sure wehave a good system to update the threads.

remember, we'll have an "render" thread and a "planning thread"

we can leave this as the planning thread but let's not make the other one yet. Mo hasn't been on in a while and he hasn't pm'd me so really we can't do much until he shows us the map or let's someone else have a copy once it's done.

BTW I changed the name. I also made it a sticky.

Sorry. We just got ahead of ourselves. What happens if Mo won't be on for a while? Tolbert says that he has a copy of the map but I dunno.

BTW the title looks better now. Thanks!

idk? does the map have terrain and all tolbert?

as long as there's a completed map and 2 or 3 people have it it should be fine. if i get a copy i can make renderings but each person would have to do terrain for the lot they choose.

Idk if Tolbert has the terrian, but all I remember him saying is that he has a copy of the map. Mo asked me if I wanted to do the terrian but I quit a little after. I have it about a quarter saved though.

Yeah I like the idea of make the landscape of your block that yu are designing.

Anyways should the previous building that were accepted be in the city or no?

Ok, you guys are somewhat fast, i said i have the original file, as i am the one who made it actually i could add terrain, but this wont be done within 1or 2 days. And if Mo turns up again, i would prefer his one i think, even his terrain doesent come out as i originally intended, but it looked very finished.

If you all want me to do the map and terrain, i'll do it. Will be more like originally intended, and might not have the exact quality of Mo's, but i'll do what i can.

Other thing is how we want to build the city, i could make some cubes on every block to give you some orientation, and we could do the city block by block, so everyone gets a block and finish it, or we just make individual buildings and place them where it would be best.

What do you think ?

'sup homies, Firstly i have to apologise for ditching this, life got a bit crazy all of a sudden. Then all of a sudden the crazyness stopped, I won't go in to details but i'll just say i met a crazy bitch, who turned out to be a bitch and made life a bitch. Good to see most of you still alive and kicking, I have missed you all !

Anyone interested in revamping a community city? A new approach to it where i'll do most of the planning and ask for approval, I already have a map which is a beach side setting; circa 1990 to 2020 - Dubai meets Gold Coast (Australia) meets Miami.

One issue that really needs to be addressed though is conformity, in order for it to work in a kickass fashion the models need to adhere to strict guidelines which i'll set out after i post a pic of the map in about 4 hours.

So who forgives me and is interested?
