I've been on here for 20 years. Opened an account here when I was in high school, in Grade 11, originally because I was curious on how our city has progressed, city photos posted by Jeff and several others over the years, as well as that one proposal for the Manitoba Hydro building that was proposed to be built on the lot of 416 Main, next to 201 Portage.

It was also in part to keep track on what's going on within our city.

...and yes the internet did peak in the mid-2000s, and shortly after I graduated high school in 2005, Facebook and YouTube appeared.

I'm in my early 30s and have been lurking since 2007 when I was in high school.

Personally I like having some old-school vBulletin in my life, but if for some reason a migration was to take place, I would surely follow. But I hope that wherever the Canada section at large goes, so does the Sask/Man subforum. I enjoy kicking around the Canada section (and the more US-centric City Discussions) as much as I do the local forum here. And given that those sections are considerably more active, I wind up spending more time there than here, even if I'm just a little fish.
