NY cops probally are more blunt. Not afraid to offend. Plus I'd imagine they have a higher tolerance for bs, because in NYC, there is a ton of BS. You just get use to it.

Folks blocking emergency vehicles... normal here. If one is having an life threatening emergency, and needs an ambulance right away, yah probally won't make it on some days.
