My favorite view of the Philly Skyline is coming off the Girard Point Bridge on I-95 North. That view really shows how far our skyline stretches, from University City to Market East. The only downside is that Three Logan Square can't be seen from there, which is one of my favorite Philly buildings.

Great shots! ^ So you're the guy I was following the other day, and couldn't stay in his lane! (j/k)
Another great view is coming back from Jersey over the Betsy Ross. There's very little traffic, I attempted to focus and take a pic with my phone. But I thought I would fly off the bridge. I can't walk and chew gum at the same time!
Drinking beers on the roof deck watching anything is cool

30 Rock becomes Comcast

Just saw on CNBC that Comcast now has their logo (signage) on 30 Rock, aka GE, RCA etc. etc. (IN NEW YORK)

They can build all the towers as tall as they want in Philly, but they really should leave the iconic GE building alone!

Having a presence in NYC atop one of it's most iconic towers will only bring good to Comcast. Hopefully this spells good news for their continued growth and more skyscrapers in Philadelphia

You mean the iconic RCA Building?

At least the Comcast logo includes the NBC peacock, which makes it the first logo atop that building that actually acknowledges the presence of its marquee occupant, and the occupant that made it truly famous.

Exactly. Say what you will about Comcast, it's pretty cool to see a "Philadelphia company" atop one of Manhattan's most iconic skyscrapers.

I remember when Comcast 1 was supposed to have the Comcast Logo on the crown.

Are you old enough to know that for most of the building's history it was known as the RCA Building? So if new owners could change its name to GE building then newer owners can change its name to COMCAST!!!

The Comcast logo and Peacock have been up there for a while ... this isn't a new story. That Curbed NY is from 2014. Comcast logo was there in May when I was in NYC. If you zoom in more - you can easily see the logo here.

W-NNnnnnnnnnnbc, W-NNNNnnnnnnbc!

Edit: I see the "new" news now. The logo (although being up there for a while) has not been lit up at night until now, and the official building name change just occurred. But as stated above, the Comcast logo replaced the GE a while ago.

I love how, from this angle, CITC will resemble 30 Rock, but taller and with a blade (a la Chicago's NBC Building)...

CITC wikipedia article

CITC's wikipedia article is pretty weak. Given that wikipedia is probably the most visible and universally accessible source of information on the project, if anyone is an editor, it could really benefit from some images and additional information. Thanks in advance to anyone with the time/inclination/wikipedia editing rights.

Anyone can edit existing wiki entries. You don't need a special status (or even a screename, though if you don't have a Wiki account, your IP address is linked to the changes you make in the history page). If the edits are factually accurate and properly sourced, they will be left alone.
