Nice to finally see photos from inside of Denver's center, rather than the same old skyline photos we've all seen a thousand times. It's just too bad it was a gloomy day, some of those shots would be top notch if there lighting was better. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, that was quite a walk all the way from Golden Triangle through downtown to Riverfront Park!

Is this the 10 story 12th and Elati tower going up?

And I can't wait for the Union Station projects to begin so these vacant lots can finally be redeveloped into a huge mixed-use TOD!

Amazing collection of photos. Threads like this make me want to drive northward and never look back...

I especially like this one. I've driven past The Brown Palace dozens of times but never noticed that small, older building in the middle that looks like an old civic building of some kind or maybe a church. What is that anyway? There's something about old, historic architecture surrounded by modern high rises...

I like this one too. Eclectic.

Very nice tour.

This looks like such a ideal and cozy street to live on, if I lived in Denver I think i'd want to live here, but I bet any of the units is a very pretty penny huh?:

Yeah, apartments/condos/lofts in the Golden Triangle are expensive, but certainly nothing by West Coast or East Coast standards!

Those Craig Nassi condo buildngs in the Golden Triangle give me the heebie-jeebies. Still, it's fascinating to see so many different architectural styles in one area. Denver's emergence as an urban mecca is not remarkable - it was always a city with dense urban fabric - but the new infll is still gratifying to witness.

Front Range, the building you asked about across from the Brown Palace is The Navarre. It was a restaurant, and private men's club when built in the 1880. It became a bordello at one point, was even a Western Art Museum.
Legend has it that a secret underground tunnel discreetly led wealthy married men from the Brown to the "painted ladies", who were said to be the classiest prostitutes in the west. The Navarre is a BEAUTY!
