The North

MUSKOKA x HALIBURTON x ALGONQUIN

Vid's gonna laugh at what I'm calling the "north" here. 2012-2013 stuff. Finally got around to editing it. And if you don't care about trees and shit, don't worry, there'll be some Toronto at the end.

Summer

Autumn

And here's some Instagrammed Toronto to keep things urban

It's the north of the south. (in Game of Thrones terms, you guys up north would be like the wildlings beyond the wall).

There's also the Kawarthas, the Frontenacs, the Georgian Bay/Huron area, and the Magnetawan area as part of "southern" cottage country. You should visit those areas and take some snaps.

I was expecting this to be a Toronto thread in reference to the Raptors, and/or their recent complete failure. The North though - nice!

At work we often refer to the far north, and particularly unincorporated areas of Ontario, as being North of the Wall. It's probably exactly how northerners think of smug Toronto government workers think of the north...

So pretty. Those look like stills for some movie set in nature like Stand by Me or something.

This reminded me of our fishing trip we took two weeks ago at the coast. The fish weren't biting because of the weather, but it was still so nice to be out there. I really love the water. There's just something about it.

Wonderful landscapes! I´ve liked all the region you´ve covered. The aerial pictures by Fall with the contrasts of colours are very nice.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

A nice idea for a thread.

I always find it funny when the Muskokas, for example, are referred to as 'the North.' It's all perspective, I guess.

Keep 'em coming!
