Very impressive, the top of Toronto City Hall should be open to the public year round. It always amazes me how in Toronto unlike Chicago there are tons of highrises far away from the lake.

I remember going to Toronto for the first time in 2007 and seeing city hall and thinking how awesome of a building it was, I had no idea you could go to the top of it!

it isn't normally open to the public, it opens one weekend a year for "doors open" when otherwise private spaces are opened up for public access.

A former "Torontonian" who is around 50 years old told me that he remembered when people in Toronto had an inferiority complex. He also remembered that after about a ten year period, Torontonians were confident.

I asked him what does he think of Toronto now? He replied, "The power of the place kind of scares me now."

Last I heard he is living in Victoria.
