The cladding will likely be worse than the stubbyness.

Is it really cost effective for developers to use low quality cladding with faux detail than something more simple and modern (e.g. KW).

More glass would be nice for Halifax.

I've thought the same thing... I have a feeling that some of the suburban-type buyers appreciate the "traditional" look of faux-historic elements.

Tim Horton's is now open in Hemlock square

Also the most recent copy of the Crombie plans for Hemlock Square confirm the PetFocus rumor from an earlier page in this thread:

Was there any chance you passed by 530 Starboard Drive? The building going up behind Sobey's should be almost done now!

Ya that building is done know a few people living in there. Theyve been doing some solid work and clearing on the other side of the roundabout as well. Still lots going on and constantly building

The lot to the east of the Luxor II appears to now be cleared. I think it is still owned by Clayton Developments.
