They were done when work was still being done on the first two buildings.

Thank you for the information kph06. Hopefully we will see a crane at King's Wharf soon.

Nope. They've been there like that since at least March.

I just hope they haven't run out of money to finish it - or a market for what they are offering.

It looks like construction has resumed today. Lots of activity on site for the first time in months.

The construction rumours we get here seem to be pretty reliable. There are lots of vague long-term estimates that slip but I can't remember any cases when construction was supposed to start within a couple of weeks and didn't. I guess that by this stage the developer has to have building permits in place and must sign agreements with contractors, etc.

I know a number of people who have reloacted from Halifax to the darkside, and love it (many of them work in Halifax); the market is developing. If they build it...

Amazing picture. Something just doesn't seem right about building a tower on the water. But Purdy's Wharf towers are still standing so I guess it's alright.

yup... the crane is up. There was a photo posted on FaceBook about 90 minutes ago by Fares's team. I tried to import a copy here but was unable. If I have time, I will walk by and take a personal pic tomorrow and post it.
