Great shots of Winnipeg.

Glass additions to heritage brick structures; best way to go IMO. Doesn't compete.

I love that building with the mosaic all the way up the side of it. Such a cool building.

The 63 year old Berkeley is one of the oldest towers in Vancouver's West End.

It is being renovated and the murals (designed by Douglas Coupland) are new.

I finally took some time off this Sunday and did a walk around Victoria and took some photos. I edited and saved just over 60 photos so I thought I'd share half tonight and the other half tomorrow night. I know it's a lot of photos but hopefully it's okay... It was a pretty wet and rainy day too but still enjoyed my photo tour.

That's so awesome. I really like this building. That would mean this building was built in 1958.

Great to see all the original photography by forum members themselves on this page! As much as I like the Instagram and Flickr highlights threads there is something special about a well curated thread of a member’s own photos. Those Winnipeg photos feel fresh and original and show off the refined side of Winnipeg. Great Scaper you got some colourful shot of Victoria on a very dreary day - a detailed tour if that was just half of it!

Those are really great photos of Winnipeg and great photos of Montreal. I'd love to go to Winnipeg and Montreal one day. I've done such little traveling. My Landscaping business really hinders me traveling in the summer months.

Thanks for the kind feedback Zoomer. I really appreciate it. I apologize I never commented on the photos you posted last week, which I really enjoyed. You always post wonderful photos. I am really excited about Dockside and the mock up of how it's going to look, pretty exciting...as well as the Capital Iron proposal. I really hope it gets approved. I also really love your seaplane, skyline shots. Just fantastic. I keep thinking it would be great to take a seaplane or helicopter tour of the city to take some photos.

This is my second half of my photos from my walk around Victoria this past Sunday.

Thanks for part 2 GS! Would be nice to see them refresh the Wyland whaling wall and the Honeymooners mural as they’re really starting to fade after a few decades. Also curious as to what the eventual plans will be for the Frank’s Dive Shop now that it’s demolished but the lot nicely boarded up with premium coated art on the wall.

Thanks Zoomer. I had a comment from my cousin on Facebook saying the same thing about the Killer Whale mural. How it's such a beautiful mural but so badly degraded. It would be nice if they could redo it maybe?

The old Dive shop and old Gold's Gym building is such a prime location for a tall building. It's too bad that the Gateway Green office tower didn't manifest. I don't even know who owns it now.

Wow, Kitchener looks awesome. First photos I've seen of it.

I uploaded a couple of older photos of Victoria that I took.
