This could be that third strike in a one-two-three punch of Art-Deco Architecture that Manhattan desperately needs right now. We need the Larkin Tower to be built to give that extra, sorely-needed legitimacy to Hell's Kitchen. The Travelsted Building would provide some needed drama, infill, variety, and context to Midtown East, despite its limited height. The MetLife North Building? Well, it can take the baton from the Empire State Building. The old girl needs that ride off into the sunset.
