I have a playoff ticket package for the Winnipeg ICE in the WHL playoffs, they have earned a spot in the league finals. It works out to $36 per game for a pair of centre ice tickets for me and my kid. It's a great deal.

Let's go boys! I am headed to the game tonight and hope to have no voice tomorrow.

The only thing as sad as the Leafs being down 3-0 by the Panthers, is how the Panthers fans are almost non existent.

Check out the seating plan for game 4 tomorrow night in Sunrise Florida. How is a team in a position to sweep and move onto the semi's not able to sell out their arena?

Maybe they have better things to do.

Pretty funny that they prevented Canadians from buying tickets. At least they'd have a full arena, even if full of Leaf fans.

It is kinda skewed though, as q12 is showing the cheapest seats for the 100 sections in Quebec City vs. cheapest for the nosebleeds in Florida.

Still kind of sad that an NHL playoff game has so many seats available in sunny, hot, sweaty Florida.

Is that the case though? I thought the arena looked like a sellout last night, or at least close to it. And they seem to be mostly Panthers fans. I wasn't paying full attention, so maybe it's something I missed.

That's because that's all that's available (Resale only), as both games 1 & 2 sold out in minutes 18,259 x 2. Halifax fans are out of luck as they sold the tickets before the Mooseheads finished their series with Sherbrooke.

I know, but what were the 300 seat prices at the beginning? is it all in CAD?

Surely a 300 seat ticket for an NHL team was more expensive than the Halifax/Quebec game 300 level (when they were offered for sale)?

I'm not trying to dampen the hype for the game in Quebec, just so we are clear. Tickets in Florida will probably be given away with Happy Meals.

The arena was pretty much full and it was mostly red. Not sure what Toronto guy is talking about.

Oh, sorry I understand what you meant. Yeah face value tickets would have been lower in Quebec.

Crazy though how much money Quebec and Halifax could make on this series if it goes to 7 and all games end up sellouts.

Quebec 18,259 x 4 = 73,036
Halifax 10,595 x 3 = 31,785

Potential of over 100,000 in attendance for entire series if it ended up going the full 7 games.

Well in fairness they might be a few hundred blue dots available in Florida, the rest are resale. Those remaining seats are at the top of the arena and the cheapest seat is $139 US plus taxes. That probably works out to $200 Canadian with taxes. We can't really compare that to a junior game where tickets go for $25.

They didn't prevent Canadians, they delayed Canadians for 24 hours. Canadians were able to buy tickets as of 11am last Tuesday, and a lot did judging by what it looked like to me. The Panthers did average over 16k a game so it's not like they have no fans.

I hate it when that happens. When a franchise that has had recent success gets a generational player like Sid to the Pens. Or Luck to the Colts. Even Connor to the Oilers because they had such a good run with Gretz even though it was in the 80s. But all those cups...

It would have been awesome if it was the Habs though. Oh well.

Was shocked to learn how many Flames fans were praying that it wasn't Columbus.
