Austin - Star Riverside updates

Site prep seems to be well underway. Here's a good link for info and renderings.

Forgive me if Im confused but is this the same site that has to be re-designed with lower building heights?

I was looking at the renderings of what these condos are going to be like inside. I must say they are very family unfriendly.

Nope, that's CWS (farther west).

This is a nice looking project. Not sure how attractive the location will be, though.

Its a pretty nice location. Unobstructed views of downtown, right on lake and trail. Other nice condos are nearby and the rest of that area will eventually be redeveloped. Access to downtown is pretty easy, the I-35 bridge allows pedestrian, cycle cross over and you can jump on the trail from there. Once they complete the boardwalk, it will be even easier.

Goldenboot, you mentioned that the tallest building at Star Riverside would be 121.5 feet tall with 12 floors. Do you know the heights for the other buildings? The one on the left looks to be nearly 100 feet tall.

I sure do Kev...

You are correct, "Revolution Riverside" (aka, building C) will be 12 stories, 121.5’ tall, and contain 59 units. Building D, the 9-story tower, will rise 91.2' and include 76 residences.

Both, buildings C & D, are phase II of the Riverside project.

Phase I, "Star Riverside," is comprised of two, 6-story buildings fronting Lady Bird Lake. Building A will house 28, three-bedroom units and building B will consist of 38, three-bedroom homes. Equally, these structures will climb 68.5' each and are expected to be delivered in summer 2009.

I'm liking the design of these. Thanks for the clarification on the heights and building letters.
