Vancouver: Whatcha Whatcha Whatcha Want...

All taken at the tail end of last summer and a bit of everything, like usual. As most of you know, I like to show a side of the city not always shown on here. Of course, there is the usual suspects mixed in, but really, I just shoot where my feet take me
I apologize for the amount of pics in here, it's more than usual, but that's just the way it goes.
Enjoy!

I hate it when people don't follow the rules:

Push-cart, scooter, walking, bicycle:

Hmm, fresh ice or party ice? I can never decide these things!

This car was waiting for someone outside this hotel not only in a no stopping zone on one of Vancouver's busiest downtown streets, but also smack dab in the middle of a crosswalk:

I can't 'bee-lieve' the thread is over already!

Awesome pics of a beautiful city. The Beastie's reference saddens me.

Very nice pictures of a very pretty city like is Vancouver. I absolutely would like to visit it. I like its buildings, its urban developments and I like it´s surrounded by a great and very nice landscape.

Thanks for your many pictures. I´ve enjoyed watching them, really.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Love the heritage houses remaining in Vancouver - often neglected because people look only at the glass condos and Vancouverism of downtown Vancity.

Definitely want more Vancouver! In your opinion, would you like Vancouver more or less if the DTES were to gentrify?

another fine set, entheosfog. that bocce court is sweeter than a cherry pie with reddi-whip topping.

Thanks for the comments.

@metroXpress: I agree many are neglected and often forgotten, especially some of the few left in the west end. But there have been some others relocated/restored (Richard & Helmcken) and Strathcona has seen many houses restored as well so that's positive.

@LAsam: my opinion of Vancouver wouldn't really be affected by that but it is a delicate situation. Some new development needs to happen to create a little more diversity in the area, but I'd hate to see the problems of the area simply displaced further east, something I fear is already happening.

@giovanni sasso: as are the old school Italian gents still found at various locales along The Drive.
