Anybody know if this is under construction? It looks like a big step forward for a mostly crummy area. It is basically a mini Gladstone Ridge.

I wrote "proposed" but it may actually be approved or under construction.

When researching the project I came across a lot of "this won't benefit the neighbourhood!" type feedback from the locals. Apparently, any new housing built in a neighbourhood must be built for people who already live there.

It is not under construction yet, but a sign is in place advertising the development so I would assume it is approved(yay!).

That'll certainly improve that block, which right now is a big hole. Mind you building D in that drawing is the gym that already exists on that site.

I've had some free time lately so I have gone through some of the older threads to see if there is any updates available on them and unfortunately all have turned up empty so far. So I though maybe a Dartmouth forumer would be able to see if any construction or updates have occured for this area?

I drove by this am and there is multiple equipment taking up the parking lot. Starting perhaps? JET

My only discontent with this project comes from building A. I just noticed that it has parking in the front of the building. It should be the other way round like building B.

Really, they started? Must have been just this week as late last week there was nothing happening.

Will be a nice project when completed, and hopefully start changing that area of town.

The end of last week they were putting footings in. They seem to be moving along. JET

I'm a Social Worker, so my terminology may not be correct, and I was driving by as I took a peek; it looks like footings to me, as if they are putting in a slab foundation. It's a bit hard to see with the fence, and the mounds of dirt, but they are busy at it. JET

I like this project more and more, the area needs developments like this. Anybody know what the story is with regards to the empty lots near the bridge?
