Wow, man, that's a great view. The nice thing about that view and Indeed Tower, is that 6 X Guadalupe won't block the view of it. It'll be just to the right of it. You can see the crane for it. It'll block the view of 300 West Sixth there, but most of Indeed Tower will still show up.

Strange -- I'd expect to see the almost-completed Marriott from that angle, but I suppose it's totally hidden by the 4 Seasons Residences...

Still, wild to see how that view might change even in the next year or two. We'll have 4-5 new buildings near Rainey, as well as a completed Block 185, Block 71, 6xGuad, Avenue Hotel, and possibly a partially-completed Republic Square and BBVA building....

That's one of those funny angles where the skyline doesn't look as tall as it actually is. There're actually several of those throughout the city (IMO) where you get a nice pano of DT, but the buildings just don't look as large as they actually are. It's weird. Maybe a trick of the light? Or the downtown grid is in a bit of a valley in comparison to the surrounding areas?

That's definitely the case approaching downtown on 35 (upper deck in particular). There are many angles from the north that are underwhelming. Topography definitely plays a part in that... a very gradual rise in elevation as you head north.

Here's a pic I took back in June from the 35 upper deck. I haven't been up there recently so I suspect the Indeed tower is making a more dramatic impact on the skyline from that angle. 6xGuadalupe should look great from here too. Also the growing towers to the east of this view are looking good. So it's changing...
