click the fog button in windows
then go to fog settngs and at the bottem there is kid of a grey colour click that and choose your colour then your fog should apear whatever colour you have choosen and then there is a thing where you put how thick you want the fog an there is another thing bring that up and click fog so it is of and you should have whatever colour sky

I did that in m city but haven't posted pics. It looks nice in your city but I'm not sure I'm liking those golden towers much.

here is the very last update as my computer is running very slow and i think it is the end for my city because it is big so here are the last pics

when you open the city how long does it take o load?
in full view,with edges and textures,SF takes around 8 minutes to load.

i must concur

it's looking too good to quit
try turning the textures off
or do buildings in a seperate file
or

select an area you aren't working on with the arrow tool and hide it

Wtf? Even the 171 MB Palm Dunes only takes like 45 seconds to open...

it depends how much is in the viwfinder,1/3 of the city showing itll open in bout 1 min

Fox has a newer and more powerfull computer
for everyone who has one older and has a crappy video card

TURN OFF 'USE HARDWARE ACCELERATION'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Windows>preferences>openGL>uncheck 'hardware acceleration'

All mine take less than 20 seconds to load.
Probably because my computer is pretty good and the files aren't massive like you guys', I think.

umm Mines takes bout 3 minutes if I have lines on but if they're off it takes like less than 2 minutes
