Any HR folks here?

In light of the recent (truthfully not so recent) sexual misconduct allegations running rampant through the Canadian Armed Forces and the Department of National Defence. Do you think the Minister has/had done enough to investigate the allegations levelled towards the former Chief of Defence Staff (General Vance)? Does his claims of not wanting to cause political interference hold water? Would you as a minister of the crown, in charge of a high profile department, whose senior and most visible representative is the subject of an ombudsman query, and that person at the same time is the champion of an operation to stamp out the very behavior he is the subject of, that at the very least you'd bring that person (the CDS) into your office for a chat?
