Just an amazing building. It's already dwarfed Jin Mao.

gudalemandele, the average price per square meter in those buildings reach a staggering 110 thousand RMB (13,604 US dollars).

Chemist, that is indeed the building you're thinking of. It's called the Shimao Tower or its more commonly known name, Le Royal Meridien Hotel. It is by far the most slept on building in Shanghai. No one seems to know about the three story lounge/bar called 789 that occupies the 64 ,65, 66 floor. It offers, without a doubt, the best 360 degree view of the city.

Here's a picture I took of it yesterday

I'm surprised my sweaty-ass back didn't splash your lense, Giallo. Nice of them to leave the air-conditioning off, eh?

Here's my garbage from yesterday:

I must say I am completely digging this building and its not even finished yet. I am glad that Asia has been doing so well. I think in many ways it inspired the world to grow to the sky again. I havent been to Shanghai yet but hope to some day. I really enjoy the esthetics in its buildings.

From skyscrapers.cn, shot taken by whisky, august 10th.

This last pic shows the temporary bracing secured to the columns. I guess next to come is 1 level more on temporary structure, then 1 level on the columns, reaching level 100.

Some hotel rooms will have a spectacular view of Jin Mao and its crown.
