Just read that the south market district has sold its last condo inside The Standard, which is great news. Does anyone know how the leasing is going for the Odeon? As well as anyone hear anything on the height of the 6th and final phase I assume it will be pretty tall because they are 300 apartment /condo units short of their 1000 apartments/ condo goal for that development.

In a perfect world their 7 th and final phase would be plaza tower . No idea on when 6th phase will be announced. Still one has to think the developers are at least looking into the Plaza Tower and given the attention on it right now, probably best chance to make a move .

Lindy Boggs Medical Center Has a New Owner

Great to see Jaegar is no longer involved with this property. Now hopefully it finally gets redeveloped!

https://www.wwltv.com/article/news/l...6-e8b0dcb26882

The long-term plan is for the property to become a new senior assisted living facility with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s care.

One property down like 7 more to go.... but def good news to get that eyesore rehabbed. Paul Flower being involved def means the project will move forward and actually happen. ALso, he will actually get to property cleaned up in the meantime.

Didn't old slumlord only pay like $500kish for it? He seems desperate for cash, maybe Domain Co could use that to their advantage and buy it cheap since it does seem to need extra cash to get it in order.

Also do we know yet if the convention center developer closed on the power plant from him?

Not sure, but Im betting like you said with the desperate for cash point, Im sure they are getting a good deal on the plant too. The less he owns the better

420 Julia looks like a nice project, but it doesn’t look like the plans for a Soho House. Did they back out?

That's a better site for Mardi Gras World honestly. Not cut off from the city by the railroad, and it will eventually be surrounded by a bustling shopping/dining neighborhood.

No clue, but I’m guessing so. It doesn’t say much on there though ... not sure what flag it would be otherwise .

It says it’s back on track. Closing on financing should be done in 3 months and construction should start shortly after. Construction should take 18 months. It will have 218 units total and is getting a tax break to offer a percentage of units below market rate.
