Looks like they are burying the concrete piers and bringing the soil back up to street level. It also appears that they are prepping the concrete base for the tower crane. Located on the NE corner which will give the operator a direct view down over Richmond and any trucks delivering materials.

The photo shows the old St Peters elementary school and its parking lot. Wouldn't that make a great site for a new major project that includes a large parking garage.

Who owns it now?

Isn't that where the Mustang Sallys guy was planning a 30-something story building? The parking lot anyway.

It's too bad this project did not involve tearing down the 1 storey retail and place underground parking for the whole site and putting something more than one 1 store - like retail ground and office above, or at least to the Tricar fake windows for above for second and third or more of parking. Instead, they will be using the existing stand-alone parking garage.

Tower crane assembly completed Thursday. Work continues on foundation island supports likely thru til Dec. Will be interesting to see if they decide to go with poured concrete or pre-cast methods.

Looks like Old Oak has contracted EllisDon to be the main builder given the ED sign now up on the tower crane. Really good progress on forming the concrete pad and filling it with steel rebar. Suspect they plan to do a major slab pour by end of week when the temps will be higher.

Formed up the central core and appear to have also done some pours. They also have the round forms on site for the pillars. Suspect they will be setting those up very soon as officially rise above ground.

Above ground as pillar forms for first floor are now up. Today dump trucks of fill being laid to set the base for the ground floor slab pour.

2 of the round pillars formed and poured. Forming started on the central core shafts where the elevators, stairs and utility risers will be. Will probably take until mid Jan to finish the ground floor lobby level and start on the 2nd floor which appears to be the first of the residential levels.

4 more of the round pillars poured on east side. Stairwell and riser forming and pouring progressing well. Expect the ground level concrete slab pour is close to happening followed by forming the 3rd floor. This should be the first residential level.

Alot of work on the jack bracing for the 3rd floor level being assembled. This should be the first residential level above the 2 level lobby/atrium. The poor weather the last few weeks have slowed progress.

Still assembling the jack posts and preparing for the floor slab forming. Likely still end of next week before they will do the concrete pour of the 3rd floor slab.

Still working on forming the 3rd floor. A lot of custom framing work then the steel rebar before they can do a concrete pour.
