This kid is near generational or even generational. Best draft pick since McDavid. When Pettersson gets a good winger or Boeser gets back to normal, he will be a consistent 100 point player, and compete with McDavid for best in world title.

Pettersson looks to be a great scorer, but so was Mike Bossy and Brett Hull and Denis Savard and host of other non-generational players. This generation it's McDavid, not Austin Matthews (hello plays in Toronto so is way overblown by the media) and it won't be Pettersson. McDavid is scary every play from every area of the ice, He's Guy LaFleur, he's Wayne Gretzky, he's Mario Lemieux, he's Sid Crosby type scary. Woe be the Oilers if McDavid gets hurt, the other guys are replaceable by good team play, McDavid is not.
