Pretty solid list, although the order is obviously up for debate. Am a bit surprised to not see LA on the list though. Nashville is a bit of a surprise as well.

Definitely! And that's a problem: I usually take vacations on Dec/Jan. One thing it's face the European winter, another thing is Chicago's. I'm a bit anxious about it.

Chicago is magnificent. It's also a place that's great for tourists because everything costs a fraction of what it does in NY, and it's not overwhelming. People from places like Cleveland, DesMoines, Pittsburgh, etc. could relate to it far more than they could to NY (or even Boston or SF).
