I guess it depends on the brand of drone you fly. I have a DJI drone, and for Austin the authorization zones - which require FAA waivers - don't start until Roy Guerrero Park/Montopolis area as you get close to the airport. UT is unrestricted, but you can't fly directly over the stadium without permission. Of course the capitol, jails, military bases (Mabry) and courthouses are restricted. As for taking pictures to
sell, there might be some UT trademark issues involved but that's not what I use my drone for.
