Yup. Desperately needs the spire.

Hopefully the next Billionaire's Row supertall has a spire. The corridor needs a true centerpiece.

I think that the next one in this area will be either the Park Lane or the Turkish developer's site, which, to my knowledge, includes the Hadassa site and if we consider a little east of here, then also SLG's site on Madison.

The world's tallest residential tower in NYC just released the first photos showing what its multimillion-dollar residences look like — take a peek inside

Last fall, Central Park Tower in New York City reached its full height of 1,550 feet, becoming the world's tallest residential building, according to the Skyscraper Center, a global tall building database from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

The 98-story luxury condo building sits on Manhattan's Billionaires' Row, a neighborhood overlooking Central Park that's traditionally been home to some of the city's priciest real estate.

The tower is still under construction, but the developer, Extell, has released photos of a $17.5 million model residence on the 43rd floor designed by Pembrooke & Ives. The three-bedroom condo features wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows that offer spectacular views of Central Park.

Take a look at the first photos released of a residence in the world's tallest residential building.

I'm not a fan, at all, but that's actually very current. This is the look right now.

First all the bad 80's trends returned, around 5-7 years ago, and now we're cycling back to the 70's. Everyone is doing freakin' wallpaper, ferns and bar carts.

Also, there are only so many times you can recycle the same marble slab/stainless steel built-ins/everything clean and spare look. When Nebraska doctors and Oklahoma businessmen have adopted the look, it's time for a change.

Keep the receipts. Maybe the whole building can go back.

I hate to say it, as much as I love the height it is kind of boring. The cantilever and setbacks are a little interesting I guess but it definitely could have been a lot better.

Other near 500 meter buildings like The Shanghai WFC, Wuhan Greenland Center, and even ICC building (which by Asian standards is boring IMO) are all nicer to look at.
