Durnhan City- Texas

Hey guys, I promise I will stick with this city, Midland is still going on, but is under a hold right now as I have no inspiration for that one.

Durnhan City is the largest city in the state of Connecticut with a population of 1,100,000 probably. The downtown area is larger and will be the only area wher I will model of the city. In this project, I am focusing more on detail than modeling a larger area. I really do hope I finish this city as I see this project going for a loonnngg time.

Here is the first shot of the city. The tallest skyscraper of the city, McQuire Institute INC, will always be the largest in Durnhan.

Instead of using Indigo, I will be using Kerkythea for the city renders.

First shot of the city. TRUST ME, there will be other tall buildings as big as the tallest. It is NOT unproportional.

Tell me what you think so far!

Instead of the city being in Connecticut, it will be placed in Southwestern Texas, because of all the glass buildings this city will have.

Here is a new render of a new building. StateHouse Enterprizes has decided that Durnhan City would be a GREAT place to have their main headquarters in, so they bought the land and built it in 2009. It is the 2nd tallest skyscraper in downtown Durnhan.

Here is another look of Statehood Enterprizes building at the bottom. Notice that the base is trianglular.

Tell me what you think!

Also, just wondering. Is rendering the city the best way to present it, or would having lines turned off (2nd pic) be the best way to present it?

Trust me, this is not over, far from done.

I've been taking finals so I've had little time to complete the renders.
