Or soulless McMixedUse properties

At the end of the day I am glad this is getting a second look.

PS, new poster. Been lurking since like 2007. But I should have a lot of inside scoops on new projects and official heights and what not. I always had a lot of the answers to project questions but never registered.

Nice projects. A real shame 401 Race was cut down so much. Was originally supposed to be 13 floors including a hotel and residential. Now only 4 floors and all residential. Nice project none-the-less but wish this was going somewhere else and the 13 floor building was going to be constructed here due to it's proximity to the BFB.

2322 Green St.
Update from Naked Philly

A real shame these are going to be 4 story townhomes. Should at least be a 5 floor condo building with a corner retail space.

Where are you going with this strange non seqitur? Are you trying to tie in some sort of quasi-political point? What does it really have to do with these awful townhouses? Not that I'm one to talk necessarily, but your last couple posts have prettty much destroyed the possibility of anyone taking you seriously. That's probably for the best, though.

New $260M factory to be constructed in Camden

Quote:
Armed with $260 million in tax credits, Holtec International is scheduled to formally break ground on a new 600,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Camden, N.J.

The power plant supplier will hold a ceremony for its Holtec Technology Campus next Wednesday with several state and local dignitaries.

The campus will be on 47 acres that Holtec will lease from the South Jersey Port Corp. The property fronts the Delaware River and is next to I-676.

The project will bring 395 jobs to Camden. Of those 395 jobs, 235 will be new to Camden and 160 will be relocating from Marlton, N.J., where the company is based.

LSNA Updates

2100 Hamilton

As previously reported, the near neighbors subcommittee met with the developer about their plans for the project. No one agreed on their 11 story and increased FAR revision proposed to be built directly on Hamilton Street. Subsequently, we advised them that the most we might accept is essentially what they could build as of right and no more.

142 N. Broad

This proposal is for a 4 story addition on top of an existing 6 story garage, all of which would be converted to a total of 116 dwelling units.

23rd and Cherry

Philadelphia Management has a new proposal to build a 9 story project at this site.
