Coming from a Londoner the reason we moan about the place is mostly the prices, what you get for your buck is half that outside the city. Great place to visit, something else entirely when youre saving up 3 lifetimes for the average $785,000 property (yes, really

Basically the population's growing alarmingly to a tune of 85,000 -100,000 each year in a city already at over-capacity, with demand far outstripping supply when it comes to housing - this of course effects all other prices. Also why so much of the place is under construction for new homes, offices and transport.
