"Nonetheless, a proposed condition of approval for the project would require that the developer conduct exploratory trenching prior to any excavation or grading activities prior to construction." Which looks to be what they are doing.
Is not the Hollywood Center to become a two tower development?

^If Hollywood Center is truly starting construction, what an incredibly arduous road that developer has finally been able to reach the end of. Those towers will definitely change the Hollywood skyline's appearance.

Unfortunately it's just another ground survey, Hollywood Center is breaking ground sometime in 2022 at the earliest.

This is amazing, and hope it happens as proposed. Do we know if the LAX line extension has any options that go up Fairfax? If so, a stop at Faifax & Beverly and connection to the Fairfax/Wilshire station make a whooooole lot of sense now.

Yeah, Fairfax is still an option along with La Brea, La Cienega and a couple of hybrid options. If Fairfax is chosen, Beverly was identified as a potential station location.

WB Expansion in Burbank

WB in Burbank
Taken on 3/27/21

Looks like one building is 2 floors above street leave (It is visible from the 134 Freeway). The other side is approaching ground level.

Perhaps my favorite proposal in all of Los Angles goes before the Beverly Hills Planning Commission today. Fingers crossed everybody!

Is there a rule that says every new Century City development has to be twin towers? I dig it though.

They're a little different height wise unlike Century Plaza, but I agree, I really hope this gets built.

Saves developer money if you have a carbon copy rather than a new design.

The session is here -http://beverlyhills.granicus.com/player/clip/7743?view_id=57&redirect=true

I am very interested to see if the project got approved, but not sure I can sit through 3 hours of Beverly Hills NIMBYs to do so lol
