Sweet, 2301... but tell me this...

How did you find out about the tower being at 25 stories, or is this just an approximation??

Once you get a nice Wilmington compilation, you should post it in "City Photos."

From the plans on Deldot's website. I counted the floors of the highrise tower from these plans. It's a lttle difficult to see, but I keep counting 25 floors. It's on page 42.

That'll do Joe. Did you take any of Barclays? There's a very strange looking piece of steel (structural?) near the garage.

That garage has seen some revisions! It's much more bold than the precast "brick" of the original.

Here's some photos I took Sunday May 7, 2006.

Here's the beginning of the construction of the 8 story parking garage.

Good Work, 2301. The thread has been untouched for a while.

I can tell from now I'm gonna like the River Tower more than the Residences.

Only 20 more stories to go!

Thanks, Joey.

Yeah.... Where is everybody?

I am liking the River Tower too. The solid north wall should only go up to the 8th floor. The two north end units from the 9th floor up are larger than the ones on the lower floors and are supposed to overlap the 8 story parking garage by about 30 ft.

I've just been waiting for someone to post some photo updates. I've been too much of a lame ass to take any myself.

On the ninth floor the tower loses that wall on the river side. Part of the slab extends out 10' and there will be 5 columns instead of that wall.

Gregg... except for the maintenance/landscaping things you mentioned, I had also wondered about the same things that seem to perturb you.

I was originally under the impression that the business around and including Mike's Auto Glass would be relocated, that they had been bought out, and that their area would turn totally into the towhouses.

There's no blame for the view down 13, that was a given, but I believe the River Tower should have been put on the parcel across the street, as I actually originally imagined.

I'm very surprised at BPG - I had no idea they ignored the new tenants that way. I figured the resale issues, but I was under the impression everything was going peachy down there.

Apparently not.

However, Gregg, I would say to hang in there, because perhaps BPG bit off more than they could chew, and are trying to fix it.

Don't give up yet!
