Unfortunate timing to be finishing a purpose-built student rental. Mac annoucing that the fall semester is going online.

Still better than nothing - I still hate that whole legoland precast seams look though.

Doesn't look too too bad from far away though - and it IS only student rentals so they'll probably trash the interior anyways lol..

Also, I hear people regularly wonder when traveling down King or Stinson about why there's so many old 3-6 story brick apartment buildings that add up to so many housing units but nobody builds those any more (lots of reasons). Anyway, its nice to see there's still some gentle density infilling our existing urban neighbourhoods.

I hope they are going to plant some trees along the street still. That's one bare landscape.

Biked past this on my way to Fairweather yesterday evening, and it doesn't look bad. Good amount of density in the neighborhood. Don't love all that surface parking, but anyway. Surface parking should be banned on any new developments imho.

I agree, this would look much better surrounded by trees

It looks much better now that they've painted it for sure - landscaping will come in time.

I agree, this would look much better if it were completely obscured from vision.
