The stitch, on the other hand, that's all below grade through there— I have higher hopes for that happening.
In the fantasy realm, they could fill the connector up with water and put a battery park with benches and shade trees overlooking the connector from the west side of Williams... That might be kinda cool. Maybe.
I would love to see the area between the old 85 and the new 85, going towards the Beltline, turned into a park someday. All the rock outcroppings and trees sure seem wasted out in the middle of the interstate.
I would also rather see Atlantic Station connected to midtown with a new elevated street grid, than see south midtown connected to Georgia Tech.
