^Not that I can see. The interesting buildings in that photo are from across many time periods. Colony Square from the 70s, One Atlantic Center and 999 Peachtree from the 80s, Four Seasons from the 90s, 1180 Peachtree and Mayfair Renaissance from the 2000s.

I should clarify and rephrase…

"In that second photo, it's interesting how the most architecturally unique buildings were the ones built between the mid 1980s & mid 1990s - with the exception of a few - (1180 Peachtree). All the rest seem somewhat visually homogeneous (not insignificant) with only subtle differences. Maybe we will have one of those eras again where good architecture is once again emphasized and still balanced with good economics.”

Colony Square was significant in that it was ahead of its time within the context of being the first Mixed Use project of its kind in the Southeast, but it didn't necessarily break the Modernist mold to any great degree.

I was excited to see this pic until I realized it's 12-18 months old... There are several buildings, stretching from SCAD to 14th street that have topped out along Spring street.

Can someone please post an updated version of this spectacular view.

This pic is disconcerting... to the untrained eye.

But, if Buckhead was sandwiched in between (or sprinkled about) downtown and Midtown, the city's skyline would be represented by something awesome like this.

You're just not used to this view, but I've worked in a highrise in Perimeter Center and this is a very familiar view to a lot of people every day. A friend used to live in the Manhattan Condo out there, and they had this awesome view as well. From Cumberland/Galleria, there's more separation, and Buckhead looks like it's a separate entity.

I worked on floor 32 of the "King" building and often sat daydreaming at the view.

"often sat daydreaming at the view."

I guess that explains, "I WORKED on floor 32 of the 'King' building...".

I worked in the Queen too when we consolidated spacecs. We were on 18-20 and you couldn't see the same view but we could see most of Dunwoody.

Yeah, you can see the separation in the background here:

That is amazing, that skyline alone ranks higher than most in the SE and beyond.
