Shawinigan, QC (pop. 50,000) has no skyline to speak of. But we got to give them this:

Great shots man!

I've always thought/said, Saint John's skyline is better than most cities twice its size. It's quite impressive for a city of only 70 000 and a metro just peaking 130 000. Very good

and the skyline is GROWING to boot!

I doubt you've been to Saint John, then. The skyline of which is their downtown has been stagnant for decades, with minimal growth just very, very recently. Saint John is having severe budgetary problems, largely due to the fact that the city is excessively sprawled, just like its satellite communities, and is now unable to pay for its maintenance.

Saint John is quite dirty; therefore, it's been a challenge to attract people to move there when surrounding communities are competition, providing endless, clean, and low taxation suburbs from which to choose. These proximal communities are too experiencing infrastructural budgetary problems. The whole area is quite the sprawled mess, with the debt to prove it.

Regina could pass for a city of 400,000 to 500,000 people when you look at it's impressive, growing skyline.

Ugggh the people in the Regina forum arre right, that concrete box on top really does ruin the top of the new Mosaic Potash Tower. It's going to destroy the effect of the architectural fin.
