SF Bay Area: Valentine’s Day in the interior East Bay - Danville & Pleasanton

It looked like it would remain mostly cloudy here in the immediate San Francisco Bay Area much of today, so I decided to cross the East Bay Hills and spend my Valentine’s Day enjoying the blossoming trees and sunshine in the interior East Bay. I started off in Danville where I walked about and had a nice alfresco lunch, then headed off to Pleasanton for an afternoon coffee and stroll. While I’d love to have more rain, it was a beautiful day to be out & about.

Great stuff. The East Bay has some very nice communities and it always looks better after some rain. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful photos! The hills look amazing — I don’t think I’ve ever seen them look that nice (I’ve usually visited in summer or fall). It sure isn’t that nice here yet!

Some friends of mine commented they thought this photo looked like the Windows XP desktop shot.

I think I remember that I preferred Pleasanton slightly to Danville when I lived in the region.
