Is that the final design for One Market Square? If so, that would really add to the skyline rather than just a box.

One has to wonder if Houston is the city that will lead the US into the next bubble pop, as Miami/Vegas/Phoenix did before. Absorption rates and vacancy rates paint a terrible picture. So much is being built on spec with a less than stellar local economy:

Hines doesnt do ridiculous. It will compliment their new building and stand out from all of the blah rectangular solids dominating downtown. Probably great for marketing. Just hope it doesnt get watered down.
